Big Dog

Samson loved his gift from Santa too. Although, Wilma has tried to stake her claim on it.

MONSTER TRUCK!!!

Graeson's new favorite thing is Monster Trucks...Santa brought this one for him. This thing is LOUD & obnoxious...Did Santa have children??? Graeson LOVES it!!!!! :) It plays some weird kind of rock music that he loves to jam out to. He can't get enough of his new truck.

"Dear Santa, Define Good."

This look says it all...My little munchkin always seem to be up to something.
This year Graeson was TERRIFIED of Santa; if I mentioned the "S" word a look of complete fear would come over his face. Well, my Uncle Paul looks just like Santa in the winter...he has the white beard, the glasses; he wears a red sweater and a Santa hat for our Christmas festivities. Graeson was glued to me for the first part of the evening. He was so scared. He warmed up after a while, but he kept a close eye on what Paul was doing.

Another GREAT Christmas...

Matson was SO THRILLED for Christmas this year! This is a face of PURE JOY!
We spent this past weekend at home with my parents. The Nickerson Christmas was on Saturday and the Wohlford Christmas was on Sunday. We had a wonderful time! And the boys came home with some great goodies.

They REALLY DO love each other!!!!

Matson's pre-school had a Parents' Night Out last night from 6 until 8:30...Graeson was welcome to stay & enjoy the pizza party & play with the other kids, but he didn't want to. Matson was terribly upset that Graeson was leaving; he wanted him to stay & play. It was so sweet! He really does love his little brother!!! I had forgotten that they re-scheduled the evening, so I didn't have any plans. Graeson got an evening at home alone with Mommy & Daddy...
HE LOVED IT!!!

"CHAAAEEEEESE!!!!!"

I'm never able to get a picture of the boys together...they always seem to be fighting when they are near each other. We went to see the "white airplane" (a nuclear missile) on the Air Force base in Little Rock & they were playing so well together. They were climbing on a large stone wall in this picture & they weren't trying to push each other off!!! You can see an old yellow, white & black helicopter & the tail of another airplane in the background. They loved running around & looking at the big airplanes!!!

For the Love of Bowling

We took the boys bowling for the first time over our Thanksgiving break...
Matson LOVED it! Graeson really didn't care for it, he was more interested in his lunch...and Matson discovered something new at the bowling alley, "twirly fries".

The lights are up, Matson!

After many, many days of begging from Matson, our outside Christmas lights are FINALLY up! Matson would ask me every day on the way home from school if we were going to put the lights up outside...I would say "No, it's too dark." Well, guess what??? We put the Christmas lights up in the dark last night. Matson & Graeson both helped; they played in the yard & ran around in the driveway most of the time. The picture doesn't do my work justice, but the theme is red & blue, for KU, of course.

Our Caring Little Boy...

This morning was a terrible fiasco at our house!!! Matson was being defiant in every way, so he was in trouble before we even got downstairs. His little brother, who takes such pleasure in tormenting him, was terribly concerned about him. Matson was throwing a fit about getting
dressed and Graeson just wasn't sure what to make of it today. It's not like he hasn't seen it most days, but today it must have struck him differently. He got his animal crackers out of the jar and asked for a bag to give to "Brother". I suppose in hopes that it would make Matson feel better. It was the sweetest thing that I've seen all day! Sometimes my little Graeson surprises me!

Would this face lie???

My sweet little angel couldn't be telling a little white lie! I know, I know, it's just a phase that all kids go through, but he's fibbing about everything. His favorite response to me telling him that he's not being honest is, "Did you see me?" All I can do is remind him each and every time how important it is to be honest and eventually he will outgrow it. Right???
